At Aurea, we strive to provide a flexible and enjoyable learning experience while ensuring that our programmes can be planned and delivered effectively.
This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the procedures and conditions relating to enrolments, cancellations, rescheduling requests and refunds for all programmes, consultations and services offered by Aurea.
By enrolling in our programmes or engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to this Refund & Cancellation Policy together with our Terms & Conditions.
At a glance: We understand that plans can change. This policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling requests and refunds are managed to ensure a fair and transparent experience for both our students and Aurea.
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all educational programmes, workshops, consultations and other services offered by Aurea, whether conducted in person, online or through any other approved delivery format.
Certain programmes, promotional offers or special events may be subject to separate cancellation or refund arrangements. Where additional terms apply, they will be communicated prior to enrolment and shall prevail to the extent of any inconsistency with this policy.
If you have any questions about how this policy applies to a specific programme or service, we encourage you to contact us before completing your enrolment.
At a glance: This policy applies to all programmes, consultations and services offered by Aurea unless otherwise stated.
Your enrolment is considered confirmed only after:
- Aurea has accepted your registration; and
- The applicable programme fees or agreed deposit have been successfully received.
Once your enrolment has been confirmed, Aurea will reserve a place for you in the selected programme or session.
As programme places may be limited, we encourage students to complete payment promptly to avoid disappointment.
Where payment is not received by the stated due date, Aurea reserves the right to release the reserved place to another participant.
At a glance: Your place in a programme is confirmed once Aurea accepts your enrolment and the required payment has been successfully received.
If you wish to cancel your enrolment, you should notify Aurea in writing as soon as reasonably practicable.
The following cancellation arrangements apply unless otherwise stated for a specific programme:
1. More than 7 days before the programme or session: Aurea may, at its discretion, offer either a full refund or credit towards a future programme.
2. Between 2 and 7 days before the programme or session: One complimentary reschedule or credit towards a future Aurea programme.
3. Less than 48 hours before the programme or session: No refund.
4. Failure to attend without prior notice (No-show): Session will be treated as utilised and no refund will be provided.
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed by Aurea.
We understand that unexpected situations can arise. If your cancellation is due to exceptional circumstances, please refer to Section 8 – Exceptional Circumstances, where requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
At a glance: If you need to cancel your enrolment, please let us know as early as possible. The amount that may be refunded or credited depends on when the cancellation request is received.
Aurea understands that unforeseen commitments may occasionally require a change in schedule.
Students may request to reschedule a programme, lesson or consultation by providing at least 48 hours' notice prior to the scheduled session.
The following conditions apply:
- Each enrolment is entitled to one complimentary rescheduling request.
- Rescheduling requests are subject to programme availability and Aurea's scheduling capacity.
- Additional rescheduling requests may be considered at Aurea's discretion.
- Requests made less than 48 hours before the scheduled session will generally be treated as a late cancellation unless exceptional circumstances apply.
Where a suitable alternative session cannot be arranged, Aurea will discuss the available options with the student on a case-by-case basis.
With Aurea's prior approval, students who are unable to attend may request to transfer their enrolment to another individual, provided reasonable notice is given and the replacement participant satisfies any applicable programme requirements.
At a glance: We understand that schedules can change. Students may request to reschedule their programme or consultation, subject to reasonable notice and availability.
Where a refund is approved under this policy, Aurea will process the refund using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
Please note that:
- Refund processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.
- Any non-refundable third-party processing fees, where applicable, may be deducted from the refunded amount.
- Credits issued in place of refunds may only be used towards future Aurea programmes or services within any validity period communicated at the time of issue.
- Refund decisions made under exceptional circumstances remain at Aurea's reasonable discretion.
Unless otherwise required by law, refunds will only be granted in accordance with this policy.
At a glance: Refunds are assessed based on the timing and circumstances of the cancellation. Where possible, we may also offer programme credits or alternative arrangements.
From time to time, Aurea may need to postpone, reschedule or cancel a programme due to operational requirements, instructor availability, minimum class enrolment or other unforeseen circumstances.
Where this occurs, Aurea will make reasonable efforts to notify affected students as soon as practicable.
Students affected by such changes may be offered one of the following options:
- Transfer to another available session.
- Credit towards a future Aurea programme.
- A full refund of any fees paid for the affected programme or session.
Aurea will always endeavour to minimise inconvenience and work with students to identify the most suitable solution.
At a glance: While we strive to deliver every programme as planned, there may occasionally be circumstances where changes are necessary.
Aurea understands that circumstances beyond a student's control may occasionally affect their ability to attend a programme or consultation.
Examples of exceptional circumstances may include:
- Serious illness or medical emergencies.
- Immediate family emergencies.
- Government-imposed travel restrictions.
- Natural disasters or severe weather events.
- Other unforeseen events beyond the reasonable control of the student.
Students seeking consideration under this section should contact Aurea as soon as reasonably practicable and may be asked to provide supporting documentation where appropriate.
Each request will be assessed individually, taking into account the circumstances presented, supporting information and the operational requirements of the affected programme.
Where appropriate, Aurea may offer an alternative session, programme credit or another reasonable arrangement in lieu of a refund.
At a glance: We recognise that unexpected situations can arise. In genuine exceptional circumstances, Aurea may review requests outside the standard policy.
Aurea reserves the right to amend this Refund & Cancellation Policy where reasonably necessary to reflect changes to our programmes, operational practices or applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Where updates are made, the revised version will be published on this page together with the updated version number and effective date.
We encourage students to review this policy periodically to remain informed of the latest cancellation, rescheduling and refund arrangements.
